UGC NET Application Form 2022 – Overview:
UGC NET is organized twice every year. This test is organized for providing eligibility to the candidates for Assistant Professor Posts and Junior Research Fellowship Posts. The full form of NET is National Eligibility Test. This test is conducted by National Testing Agency on behalf of the University Grant Commission. Candidates qualified in UGC NET become eligible for JRF and Assistant Professor posts in any university in India.

UGC NET Notification 2022 – Important Details:
Applicant must be a Post-graduate in any discipline.
There is no age limit for the post of Assistant Professor. But, the maximum age limit for JRF posts is 31 years as of 1st March 2022.
The application fee for UGC NET is non-refundable and can be paid via online mode only. The details of the application fee for all categories are mentioned below:
- General Category: Rs. 1000
- For EWS, OBC, NCL Candidates: Rs. 500
- For SC, ST, and Transgender Category: Rs. 250
